Project Statement

The Loft project is a series of photographs, a small book, and a video of USI’s dining hall known as the Loft and its pasta. It was created not only for class, but also because I genuinely enjoy pasta and watching it be made in front of me was fascinating. I hope my work conveys this sense of wonder and that others will find something they’re passionate about after viewing my work since that’s what I believe life is all about.　　　　　　　　　ロフトプロジェクトは、一連の写真、小さな本、そしてロフトとそのパスタとして知られるUSIの食堂のビデオです。授業だけでなく、パスタが大好きで、目の前で作られるのを見るのも魅力的でした。私の作品がこの不思議な感覚を伝え、他の人が私の作品を見た後に情熱を持っている何かを見つけてくれることを願っています。それが人生のすべてだと私は信じているからです。
